Great firm, great crowd of drivers. Mainly contracting pallets etc for Vauxhalls store just up the road. Nights out, Plymouth, Helston, Haverford west, All garages supplied, London, Brum, Norfolk etc. No Tachos, old log books,

Wages good, lorries mainly Vauxhall, TK', KM'S, and a Dodge artic.

Manager Mr Attenborough, a real gentleman, treated you fair. Anyway that's my recollection from 60 years ago. Biggest accolade, if the Ministry pulled you in, you knew you would have no problems, not like a lot of them in those days, bald tyres, no heaters, poor maintenance and poor wages attached to things like mileage bonuses, where you were stuck in the docks not earning a penny..
