"Disappointment"

A review of Leicester Arms by Mrs Robinson written on Sunday 30th of April 2017

Our son had booked us a meal as a birthday treat for my husband. Table booked for 7.30pm

Meal was ordered, and we were still waiting at 8.30. We called a waitress to our table, and she went back to the kitchen and returned with our ordered meal on a till receipt. All in order. BUT we had got mixed up with the Function Room which was a large party. Meals were coming and going into that room, and eventually, at 8.50 we got our meal, after more complaining. Some of the meal was completely wrong.

This meant we were still eating at 945,which as the older generation, we cannot eat so late. The meal WAS hot, but not really enjoyable. Even the people in the function room were not happy. We were offered a free dessert each.

Maybe a good idea when there is a large party, more staff would be beneficial. Staff were polite, and very embarrassed. Its not some where I would wish to return to..
