"Fixing flats with your deposit"

We were renting a studio flat for 2.5 half years with London Edge Estates. They didn't care about things that were broken or needed fixing at all and when we've moved out, they said we won't get all of our deposit back, because we broke the bed and walls don't look good anymore, they need to be painted again (which is a normal thing to do before someone new moves in anyway). When we said this to them many times, they didn't care and didn't do anything for us, but when we've moved out - they decided it's right time to fix everything with our money. Be careful with this agency!.
